Stacey Currie, of Soaring Horse Holistic Equine Therapy, has combined a lifetime of horse experience/ownership with an education that supports an integrative approach to equine health. As a graduate of the Boston Institute of Shiatsu and Complimentary Therapies Stacey spent three years studying Zen Shiatsu and Traditional Chinese Medicine with Kiku Zutrau- Miyazaki, co-founder of the AOBTA (American organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia). Stacey went on to complete a degree in Holistic Therapy from Lesley University. During this time Stacey also graduated from the Geary Whiting Equine Massage Academy in California, where she learned Traditional Equine Sports Massage. Through the years Stacey has pursued continuing ed. courses in Masterson Technique, Reiki (level2), Light Therapy and BEMER Therapy. Stacey rounded out her proverbial ‘toolbox’ in 2020 by becoming a Board Certified Light Therapist with The Photonic Therapy Institute. Stacey has become deeply vested in the healing power of light therapy and in 2021 received her Photopuncture certification, in this way reinvigorating her education in Traditional Chinese Medicine. In an effort to diversify, Stacey branched out into a clinic format in 2020 successfully holding numerous equine massage events as well as collaborating with an Equine Chiropractor to combine both crafts in an ideal clinic setting. In the spring of 2021 Soaring Horse added the BEMER Horse Set which offers patented PEMF technology and systemic microcirculation to the equine body. Over the past twelve years Stacey has continued to grow in a way that has allowed her to build a solid business by combining all aspects of her education to develop a truly unique approach to effective equine body work. Stacey lives on a small farm in Central Massachusetts with her husband, daughters, horses, dogs and cats.
